“Princess Island, especially the big island, is worth a day trip. Do it on your own with a local ferry. Our boat was OK, but the only seats were free-standing tables and chairs for the lunch (and presumably for evening dinner cruises). No very comfortable, especially for someone 60+, for 4 hours R/T. Lunch also mediocre: boring salad, decent meatball (patty), tasteless chicken and bland rice. Much more interesting options on the island(s). What really ticked me off is the tour added on a leather "fashion show" at the end that was not on our purchased itinerary that my wife and I wanted to skip (as did others). I asked…”

“Our tour guide was wonderful, the boat ride was beautiful seeing amazing sites. But from pickup to boat took an hour and 20 minutes with lots of stops and sitting around. Islands were pretty but not much to see but vendors selling their items.”

La recogida fue regular, pues debido al tráfico se presentaron 10minutos tarde y nos llevaron en taxi al puerto junto a los demás integrantes del grupo. La comida fue escasa, si bien estaba rica y no incluía postre. El guía hablaba bien inglés, pero explicaba todo con poco detalle y muy justo, aunque te ayudaba ante cualquier duda. La visita a las islas fue muy justita de tiempos (sólo 1 hora para ver la primera y escasa hora y media para la segunda). “It was a basic bike ride around the island. Not many stops, just ride. About two hours long. Our guide Ege, was super friendly. No complaints. Soft spoken and a little hard to hear but we both really liked him. If you are coming Galata area, be prepared for about a 1.5 hour ferry ride each way.”
