“It was fine. The Harem was not open during our visit and the skip-the-line entry is not entirely skip-the-line. You are basically on a different line that requers you to go to the information desk to get an actual ticket because they dont accept the one you get here. You end up with the same waiting time because they were not so fast with providing it.”

“Use another tour provider! I paid to be picked up and had to pay for a cab to the meeting location. I paid for an English tour and I (solo) was put with a primarily Spanish-speaking group so 60% of the tour was in Spanish which means what information that was given in English was basic. How unfair that 60% of the tour wasn't available to me...I didn't pay 40% of the price! Take the audio tour instead.”

The palace was reasonably interesting (we found Topkapi to be a much more fascinating place which we toured earlier in the week) but in our 7 days in Istanbul Murat was the best tour guide we encountered.
