“They don’t guide you, they give you a link to access an online guide on your phone, which one of us got on for 5 minutes until it logged her off. I couldn’t get on at all because it was asking for a password and username. Plus, they play loud Turkish music, so you wouldn’t be able to hear anything. If you want a boat ride, it’s fine. Don’t expect to learn anything about the sights.”

“I cannot rate a service that did not occur. I booked the night before and went to the assigned meeting point 15 minutes early. In the midst of the chaos at the front of the Spice Markets I found 2 other people waiting for the same guide. Fortunately they were able to speak to the guide on their mobile. He claimed not to have received my Viator booking. He instructed me to board the 6pm Bosphorus Cruise without him and he would give me a full refund. The evening cruise was pleasant, but a guide would have made it even better.”

“Totally scam. Don’t ever try this! We got to the meeting point there wasn’t any boat waiting for us. After 5 mins a boat appeared where some people were gathered waiting for it. We went there asked the people, none of them knew English like most of the people in turkey and later we asked the guide of the boat if this is our boat showing him our ticked. He told us to stay out and he left with all of the people. I don’t know if we were supposed to take this boat but anyways we got scammed. They didn’t ever return us our money. We paid for nothing”
